Wedding-ing (Or, Now "The Things We Do For Love" Is Stuck In Your Head)

Today's writing exercise is going to be working on my wedding ceremony and getting it completely finished, so this will likely be another short blog post, just catching up. The wedding ceremony is, at the moment, the biggest thing we need to knock out and have ready. After that, I'll only want to set everything on fire once or twice a day.

I've decided to give up the Keto diet for now, because my energy has been pretty low. It's a not-common side-effect of the diet, and since I have so much to get done at the moment, I just can't afford to do it. I look and feel great otherwise. I've lost a good deal of weight, saw myself in the 170s for the first time since college. I think I've always been good at wearing my weight well, but I actually look quite good at the moment. I'll just go back to exercising much more regularly (which, because of the energy loss, I had stopped doing). I think that'll likely make me feel good about the body I have now, as well. I really felt very confident in my body during this diet. I bought my first pair of Skinny Jeans. Right! I know! Now I'm one of those assholes! But it looked good on me, and I bought another pair. Holy shit. That kind of confidence is enticing, and I don't want to go back to looking or feeling bad. I like my body right now. It was a weird experience, looking in the mirror and thinking I like the way that looks. It wasn't something that had ever really come to me.

Also, my writing has slowed down a lot, as you may have noticed by the lack of updates. I was so busy getting my shit done for this wedding and losing energy, and my writing suffered. So my plan is to adjust a lot of priorities, and rework life back into the same frenzy I had a few months ago. I figure if I start now, it'll be easier to maintain it after wedding. It'll feel like a cakewalk. That means that when I'm back, I'm going to get a voice acting reel set up. I'll probably contact my UCB improv 101 teacher, Joel Spence, who records voice demos for lots of people. I've heard one of those demos, and it sounds really good. Also, since I do voices, I might as well see if I can get into some cartoon work. That'd be awesome.

Anyway, back to this whole ceremony thing. I'm going to do the MWF schedule again and see how that works out.
